Air conditioners both cool and dehumidify the air. In dry climates, like California and much of the Western US, the air is already dry. Dehumidification is unnecessary. It's work done by your air conditioner that literally runs down the drain. Western Cooling Control adjusts the indoor fan run time to reduce extra dehumidification and improve the cooling performance of your air conditioner.
